Smart nor wise,
Sharing embellished experiences,
Loosely based on his life.
He’s here to talk, not to listen.
If he would, he’d know
His single spectator to be
An embarrassed future self.
Then again,
If he would, he’d still not care —
Rambling on,
Unaware his audience of echoes,
Just like every other man
Occupying a box on the
Otherwise empty city square.
